This poor puppy has so many ticks on him for no apparent reason.
Tick fever was plaguing the dog. On their Facebook page, CLAW shared images of the puppy, who is now called Belle. A dog with this many ticks cannot be “treated,” as the saying goes. They will have to wait till the ticks spontaneously detach.
Belle would bleed out if they began to attempt to remove them. The former owners of Belle will be held accountable for her state. Belle was doing and feeling better the morning after being discovered, and some of the ticks had already descended.
The process of waiting for the ticks to detach was agonizingly slow, but CLAW’s team knew it was the only way to avoid causing her more harm. They carefully monitored her condition around the clock, ensuring she remained comfortable and hydrated. Belle seemed to understand that these humans were there to help her; she began wagging her tail softly whenever they approached.
As news of Belle’s rescue continued to spread, donations poured in to support her care and CLAW’s mission.
